Obituary of (Betty) Elizabeth Ann Clements

Known to family and friends as Betty, Elizabeth Ann Clements, 96, of Marysville, passed away March 12, 2023. She was born on May 15, 1926 in Oakland, California to George B. and Jessie M. Atwood. She lived in the Yuba-Sutter area most of her life. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1944 and attended Yuba College and California College of Arts and Crafts. She was married 61 years to Everett "Ambie" Clements until his passing in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Susan Crane of Portland, Oregon. Betty was active in local organizations including Native Daughters of the Golden West, Marysville Art Club and Rideout Hospital Auxiliary "Pink Ladies". She played golf and bridge at Peach Tree Country Club where she and Everett were charter members. She was involved in many of her daughter's school activities and led Blue Bird and Campfire groups. She was an avid reader and was a regular visitor at the Marysville and Sutter County Libraries. Graveside services will be held at Sutter Cemetery on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1:00PM.
