Obituary of Kuldip "Deep" Singh Rai

Kuldip "Deep" Singh Rai, 71, passed away on September 12, 2022, with his family by his side, at Adventist Health and Rideout Hospital in Marysville. Kuldip was born in Marysville, California, to Sohan and Joginder Rai. He was their eldest child and a brother to three sisters. As a child, he was taught the importance of hard-work and the importance of family. These values followed him through his life and were passed onto his children. He graduated from Yuba City High School, and remained within the Yuba-Sutter area for majority of his life. Kuldip held many positions in various fields, primarily working as a truck/transport driver and dispatcher for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending quality time with his kids and wife and celebrating life at all occasions. Kuldip favorited going to the movies, having dinner with his family, watching sporting events, and keeping up to date with current events. Kuldip leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Dalbir; sons, Alex (23) and Max (18). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, located at 817 Almond St., in Yuba City. The service will commence at 11 AM, please join for the final prayers being held at the Sikh Temple Gurdwara, located at 2468 Tierra Buena Rd., at 1PM.
