Obituary of Patricia Gail Neel

It is with great sorrow to announce the death of Patricia Gail Neel, age 84, on June 30, 2022. She was born and lived her entire life in the Yuba-Sutter area except for several years as a Navy wife in San Diego, CA. Her parents were Lewis Dewey and Elsie Dewey (Neal) both born and raised in Live Oak, CA. Patricia graduated from Yuba City High School in 1957 . Patricia was the matriarch of seven children. She was also a mother and friend to many people in the community. Many of whom called her "Mom" and knew they were always welcome to pop in for a chat and or a shoulder to lean on, if needed. She was a lover of nature and imprinted on everyone to love and respect it also. She spent many happy weekends taking her family plus friends on picnics, camping or just taking a road trip to see where it would lead them. She is survived by children, Randal, Vernon (Casey), Jeff, Kryste Torres, Marissa, Sharri Neel and Michael Moreno, all living in the Yuba-Sutter area. She had 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brother, Neal Dewey of Texas and several cousins. She is preceded by her parents and sister, Beverly Conway. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Celebration of Life which will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 10:30 am at Sycamore Ranch, 5390 State Hwy. 20, Brownsville, CA, near the Yuba River she so dearly loved.
