Obituary of Charles Alexander "Cheese" Brown
We sadly announce the passing of Charles Alexander "Cheese" Brown. He passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022.
He was born to Charles Brown and Willie Mae Douglas in McLean, Illinois on September 17, 1955.
Charlie had many hobbies. He was a talented cook and griller. He received so much joy from cooking for his friends and family, especially his amazing sweet potato pies and gumbo. He also loved spending time fishing with his friends.
One of Charlie's proudest moments was when he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 8, 1997. He dedicated his life to helping others learn about the bible and his hope for the future. No one was a stranger to Charlie he talked to all he met and was able to remember everyone's names!
Charlie will be missed by his brothers, Michael Anthony Brown, Calvin Lewis Brown and Travis Clement Jackson; his sister, Vera Rensh; and his cousin, Joann Brown Campbell and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Bryant; and his brother, Orlando Brown.
Charlie was well loved and will be missed by so many of his friends, most of whom considered him family.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 650 N. George Washington Blvd., Yuba City, CA.
