Obituary of Joan Josephine Henry

Joan Josephine Henry, of Colbert, WA, passed away June 26, 2022 in Spokane, WA. Born October 11, 1933 in Marysville, CA, she was a former resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 80 years. She was a cannery supervisor at Del Monte, a homemaker, a member of the Merry Makers and a loving mother and wife. She is survived by Charles J. Henry III, Dominic Henry, Antonio Henry, Vincent Henry, Piper Henry and Catherine Oliver, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Henry, Jr., son Santee Henry and 5 sisters and 1 brother. Services will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Sierra View Mortuary. A gathering will follow at Sam Brannan Park with food and refreshments.
