Obituary of Nancy Rogers

On September 14th, 2022, Nancy Jane (Ponciano) Rogers, our beloved Mom, Grammie, Sister, and Best Friend, went home to be with our lord and her parents. Nancy was born on October 6th, 1947, to Frank and Betty Ponciano in Willows, CA, her high school years were spent in Willows and Red Bluff, California. She met the love of her life, Duane Rogers and they spent the next 30 years happily married. Nancy worked for 20 years for Knife River (Baldwin contracting) and 5 years at Butte Sand and Gravel as an administrator. After retiring, Duane and Nancy, spent time at their vacation home near Chester, California, and traveled the country visiting over 21 states. Nancy volunteered for 5 years at Adventist/Rideout Hospital and eventually became president of the Adventist/Rideout auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Duane Rogers of Yuba City; her brother, Tom Ponciano of Yuba City; and her children, Tami Saalsaa of San Diego, Keven Rogers of Marysville, Michele and Jason Towslee of Oregon, and Deidre Robbins of Yuba City. Included in her loving family Nancy has 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parent's Frank and Betty Ponciano. The family will be Celebrating Nancy's Life on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11am at Adventure Church of Yuba City. Please join us.
