Obituary of Peter F. Paruccini

Peter F. Paruccini, age 39, passed away on December 16, 2022, while skiing in Lake Tahoe. Peter was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son, as well as a loyal, and active member and alumnus of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Peter received his BA in History and Political Science from UC Davis in 2006. Upon graduation Peter began teaching Junior High school at a local Davis school, however, always feeling the pull to service he joined the United States Army. Peter retired from the United States Army after serving bravely as an Infantryman deploying to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror. After his time in the Army Peter began a career in law enforcement serving in both the Bay Area and Ventura. Ultimately Peter was recruited out of law enforcement thanks to his expertise in project management and logistics working with SoCal Edison in Southern California. Peter was larger than life, a friend to all those that met him, and a beacon of happiness to all those in his orbit. His passing leaves a void that will never truly be filled. Peter is survived by his wife, Celeste; son, Giorgio; sister, Annie; brother, Paul, wife Brooke and nephew, Grant; father, Luigi; and mother, Stephanie. A celebration of life will be scheduled with dates communicated to his friends and loved ones at a later date.
