Obituary of Robert Allen Jensen

Robert Allen Jensen passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born April 24, 1951 to Leonard Grant and Zoella Mae Jensen. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from Corona High School. He then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Zealand from 1970-1972. He met his wife Marie and they were married on June 27, 1974. They are the parents of four children, Jessica, Bradley, Gary, and Paul. Bob and Marie moved to Yuba City in 1977 with his job and called it home ever since. Bob was always the entrepreneur and had several businesses in the Yuba City area. He started Jensen Fasteners in 1981 and ran it until 1999 when he sold it. And No-Toil Industries, the world's first and only biodegradable foam air filter oil, in 1998 until the current day. As a young teenager he became interested in motorcycles, which became a life-long passion. Motocross and trail riding were his favorite activities in the world. Most family vacations revolved around motocross racing. Bob had a great love of life and always had a positive outlook. When someone would ask him how he was, his response was always, "I never had it so good." During times when things did not go according to plan, he always said that we were having an adventure. Always a hard worker and go-getter, Bob loved serving others and willingly helped anyone who needed it. He was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as bishop from 1987-1992, and in many other callings. His favorite was always serving in the Young Mens program. Bob had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren, who could do no wrong in his eyes. He spoiled them as much as possible. He was preceded in death by his father Grant, brother Danny, and grandsons Mason Oakes and Ryan Jensen. He is survived by his wife Marie, children Jessica (Scott) Oakes, Bradley (Andrea) Jensen, Gary (Melanie) Jensen, Paul (Calle) Jensen, mother Zoella Jensen, and grandchildren Claire Oakes, Ethan Oakes, Samuel Oakes, Kylee Jensen, Caleb Jensen, Isaac Jensen, Jonas Jensen, Zoella Jensen, Eliza Jensen, Milo Jensen, Soren Jensen, Chloe Jensen, and Lena Jensen. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 520 Clark Avenue in Yuba City.
