Obituary of Charles Whitaker

Charles J. Whitaker, 87, of Yuba City, CA, passed away June 12, 2023. He was born May 29, 1936, in Wanette, OK, and had been a Yuba Sutter resident for 80 years. He was the owner of Quick's Glass Service from 1967 to 1997. He is survived by his son, Brad Whitaker of Marysville, CA; four grandchildren, Bradley Whitaker Jr. of Marysville, CA, Charles Whitaker of Killeen, TX, Ashley Wilkinson of Norman, OK, and Nicole Whitaker of Leavenworth, KS; five great-grandchildren, Chloe Whitaker of Marysville, CA, Johnny Patton III of Marysville, CA, Gregory Visocsky of Leavenworth, KS; Penelope Wilkinson of Norman, OK, and Delilah Wilkinson of Norman, OK. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Whitaker, and his son, Gregory Whitaker. Funeral service to be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 10am at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City, CA followed by graveside service at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter, CA.
