Obituary of Burl Rogers

Burl Rogers, 87, of Yuba City, CA, passed away peacefully in his home on June 23, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1936, to George and Lucy Rogers in Cameron, Oklahoma. After 38 years of service as a millwright, Burl retired from Louisiana Pacific. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work. Burl enjoyed traveling and visiting different states, as well as spending time at casinos. Burl is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Rogers; his four daughters, Beverly Barngrover, Marla Hemphill, Rhonda Rogers, and Brenda Rudge; multiple grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, and his son-in-law, Timothy Rudge. A service will be held for Burl at Sutter Cemetery on July 12, 2023, at 10 AM. Contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
