Obituary of Bertha Balderrama-Perez

Heaven received another angel when Bertha Balderrama-Perez passed away on June 23, 2023, in Yuba City, CA. Bertha was born on April 1, 1943, in Canutillo, Texas to Antonio and Lorenza Balderrama. Bertha worked at the Sutter County Welfare Department and then transferred to Sutter County Child Protective Services where she retired after 15 years of service. She leaves behind a sister, Mary Nevarez of Lincoln, CA; four children, Cristina Perez-Ramirez, Nadine Chavez, Corine Perez-Arp, and Frank Perez; four grandchildren, Jesse Ramirez, Sciera Perez-Dunn, Selena Chavez, and Wyatt Arp; and two great-grandchildren, Ayvah and Abigail Ramirez. Bertha passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She is proceeded in death by her parents, sister, Ernestina Nevarez; and brother, Tony Balderrama. A private service will be held by the family.
