Obituary of Hatsune Kadoi

Hatsune Kadoi passed away on June 22,2023. She was born in Marysville, CA, to Naoichi and Mitsuru Okidoi on October 7, 1920. She has lived in Marysville, CA, all her life except during her families time in internment at Amachi, CO. She married Aetna Setsuo Kadoi on December 22, 1939. After the war she and "A" returned home to Marysville, CA. She was a beautician for 80+ years. "A" built her salon in the house so that the salon was close by. She has only been retired for the last few years in order to accommodate her remaining clients.
She loved to sew and grow vegetables and flowers in her yard. Many of her flowers have been on the Hanamido altar annually. Hatsune also held several positions within the Fujinkai club. She is survived by her children: Carolyn Manji, Sharon (Dave) Chinn, Steve Kadoi, and Lynette (Vicente) Guevara; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The family of Hatsune Kadoi would also like to thank Randy at Ullrey's Memorial Chapel for his outstanding guidance and support. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 11AM at the Buddhist Church of Marysville, 125 B Street, Marysville, CA. All friends are welcome to attend.
