Obituary of David Amarel

David Bruce Amarel, 75, passed away August 7, 2023 at Adventist Hospital in Napa, California during a heart-valve transplant surgery. David is survived by his wife Marjorie Elaine Amarel, his son David Amarel, Jr., daughter Roseann Pittman and four grandchildren: Nina M. Pittman, Ashley R. Youltz, Megan M. Pittman, and Nicolas Ace Pittman. Also, eleven great-grandchildren and a brother Melvin A. Amarel.
Born and raised in Yuba City, he was a lifelong resident. David graduated from Yuba City High School in 1966. He joined the Army where he served with valiantly and honors while in Vietnam, where he participated in twenty-five aerial missions. David was an entrepreneur who had a repair business that served Yuba and Sutter Counties. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10 am at Sutter Cemetery, Sutter California.
