Obituary of Judith Esther Rockenstein Greene

Judith Esther Rockenstein Greene, born January 19, 1937, passed away peacefully October 13, 2023. The second eldest of nine children, she had humble beginnings on a farm in Pennsylvania. Judy loved life on the farm racing ponies, caring for animals, and enjoying the outdoors. Her family moved to Marysville, California when she was thirteen and at the age of twenty-one she met her husband Orville Wayne Greene. Wayne and Judy had a daughter Helen and a year later a son Thomas. She is the grandmother to Garrett, Paul, and Mariah and a great-grandmother to nine. Judy had a creative character and enjoyed arranging flowers, sewing, coloring, and cooking. Along with being very creative, Judy especially appreciated animals and was never without a pet dog and cat. Judy was an active member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and loved by the parishioners. Judy is peacefully with her Lord and deeply missed. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Isidore Church preceded by a rosary at 10:00am.
